NORTH KOREA-U.S.A. TENSIONS
On October 10th, after an unprecedented escalation of threats between the President of the US and Kim Jong-Un, President. Trump ordered a full-scale “tour de force” on international waters, east of North Korea’s coast. Sources from the Pentagon report that B-1B Lancer Bombers were deployed from Guam and the US Air Force F-15C Eagle fighter escorts took off from Okinawa, Japan.
Undisclosed sources report one missing B-1B upon return to the military base and radar data show that an engine malfunction may have contributed to the aircraft’s demise. Satellite images show that the B-1B pilot, an experienced operative from Iowa Air National Guard, was saved or captured by an unmarked fishing boat heading to North Korea.
Although it is believed that the pilot is being held captive in Pyongyang, the isolated country officially stated that they have no information regarding the whereabouts of the pilot. Yesterday night President Trump tweeted his course of actions:
North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-Un further declared that: “The mentally deranged U.S. dotard’s claims are false. We are neither responsible for your poorly-engineered planes sinking into the Pacific nor your inexperienced pilots drowning in international waters. Attack us and you will witness the full might of the People.”
